On board — good vibes rules

A happy boat is a shared boat.

  • Soft luggage preferred.
  • Keep cabins tidy — space is tight and shared.
  • Water is precious on board — short showers, please.
  • No shoes on deck, unless the skipper says otherwise.
  • Listen to your skipper — safety first, always.
  • Respect quiet hours in harbours after 22:00 — this is a calm week.
07 · On Board

Life on board — the good-to-knows.

Food, harbours, cabins, water and power — the practical rhythm of our week on the boat.

Drinks & Spirits

Our partner KA-EX is on board as a recharge drink — perfect after Pilates, sunrise runs or a long swim. Otherwise, regular water and morning juice are provided.

Food on Board

Our hostess prepares nourishing, feel-good meals on board throughout the week. Every breakfast and lunch is included, plus the first-night tavolata dinner at Restoran Šampjer in Maslinica and two relaxed dinners on board in Šćedro and Hvar.

  • Every breakfast and lunch is prepared with care by our hostess — except one lunch, which we enjoy ashore at Vala bay restaurant on the way to Makarska.
  • First-night dinner at Restoran Šampjer in Maslinica is included.
  • Two dinners on board in Šćedro and Hvar are included.
  • Fresh fruit, tea, snacks and the first days' supplies are already on board.
  • Most harbour towns have supermarkets for any extra personal favourites.

Cabins & Sleeping

All cabins are essentially equivalent — decide together who shares with whom. Fair and open, on the spot.

  • Usually two people per cabin in a double bed.
  • Bed linen, regular towels and beach towels are provided.
  • Storage is limited — use soft bags.

Luggage & Storage

Storage on a sailing boat is limited. Soft bags or backpacks fit much better than hard-shell suitcases. Hard cases are possible — you'll simply have less cabin space.

Toilets & Showers

Toilets and showers are on board for the crew. For the 'big business' we recommend using the harbour facilities whenever possible — on-board toilets clog easily.

  • If unsure how to use the toilet, ask your skipper.
  • Every harbour on our route has modern, clean sanitary facilities — often 24/7.

Power, Battery & Powerbanks

Power on board is limited, especially while sailing. Few sockets, and some only work with shore power.

  • Charge your devices in the harbour when shore power is available.
  • We suggest to bring some powerbanks with you.

Skipper & Safety

Our experienced skippers guide you safely through the most beautiful routes of the Adriatic. They are your first contact on board — for safety, route choice or wellbeing.

  • Every boat has a safety briefing at the start — please attend attentively.
  • Follow the skipper's instructions at all times.

Sustainability

Please remember: shower water flows directly into the sea. We strongly recommend biodegradable shampoo and shower gel to protect this beautiful nature.

Community & Boat Chats

All general info for the week (packing, meeting points, route updates) lands in the Sails N' Soul community chat. Two weeks before departure we create a dedicated group chat per boat with the skipper.
